Apple Music launched today and to get you to use the service, Apple’s giving you three months for free. They’re also automatically signing you up for an auto-renewal payment option after that trial ends. Here’s how to turn that off.
After you set up Apple Music and are forced to pick a subscription plan with with the auto-renewal option, you can disable it:
- Head to Settings > iTunes & App Store
- Tap your Apple ID and enter your password
- Tap “View Apple ID”
- Under the Subscriptions option, tab “Manage”
- Toggle the “Automatic Renewal” option to off
That’s it, now you can enjoy your three month free trial without worrying about getting charged for a service you might not end up even using.
