Google Admits Google+ Was Just A Ploy To Track Your Behavior Online

As a social network, Google+ is just a bunch of empty circles spinning in a barren wasteland. But Google could give a fuck if consumers prefer Facebook. What the $400 billion data vacuum really wanted, reports The New York Times, is to track everything you do online and sell that personal information to advertisers.

Don’t Worry, Whedonites, a DR. HORRIBLE Sequel Will Happen

The Nerdist Don't Worry, Whedonites, a DR. HORRIBLE Sequel Will Happen

Remember back in 2008 when the brothers Whedon (Joss, Jed, and Zack) gathered up a group of their famous friends and created Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog? It was a magical time, uniting Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, and Nathan Fillion in supervillainry and song. And after the popularity of the series began to increase, fans begged for more, subsequently proving — even in a time when there was no such thing as "success" in a webseries world — that there could be a market for something professionally done in the digital landscape. Soon thereafter, Whedon confirmed there would be a sequel.

That was, of course, years ago. And much time has passed since the series premiered — though its appreciative fans have far from waned. In fact, they're even larger in number and as desperate as ever to see the second installment, which prompted Entertainment Weekly to ask the question again. To which brother Jed responded in kind:

"We know we have spoken publicly about a sequel in the near distance and our passion to create it, and I promise we have not been insincere. Horrible is still one of our favorite creations by humans who were also us. We have many songs written and the plot outlined, but needless to say, we've been busy. Joss has had a hectic couple of years and is in the middle of the busiest year of his life, as is Zack and as are we. Also the actors have other things they're acting in, I think. So the future is uncertain, our passion remains. DH2 will exist, in some format or another, at some point in the future. Unfortunately, the when is still unclear."

So there you have it, Sing-Along fans. Now if only we could freeze-ray the world until our favorite aspiring supervillain returned. (Isn't impatience a virtue?)

Are you looking forward to a Dr. Horrible sequel? Let us know in the comments.

You Can Roll These Cabins-on-Wheels to Somewhere Warm

You Can Roll These Cabins-on-Wheels to Somewhere Warm

There are houses and then there are RVs. But a Wyoming company called Wheelhaus sells something that's somewhere between the two: Fully built-out cabins that are easily hitched to a trailer and dragged to new locations.

Order a Quesarito and other Secret Chipotle Menu Items

Order a Quesarito and other Secret Chipotle Menu Items

If a regular burrito from Chipotle just isn't huge enough, you might want to give the Quesarito a try. It's the burrito of your choice wrapped in a full cheese quesadilla instead of just a flour tortilla. You'll have to ask for it though; it isn't on the regular menu.

We've talked about secret menu items before, including fun things at places like Subway, Panera, and Starbucks. The folks at #HackTheMenu have a list of items you can order from Chipotle's secret menu, including the monstrous Quesarito. You may find some locations are more willing to make it for you than others, but if they serve quesadillas, they likely will. If they don't know what a Quesarito is, just ask them to use a cheese quesadilla as the shell for your burrito.

Hit up the secret menu at #HackTheMenu to learn more.
